Tokusen Shibayama incense roll is a floral-woody incense produced in Japan by Nippon Kodo.
The incense is made using ingredients such as aloeswood (also known as agar) and the sticks have no bamboo core, reducing air pollution and manufacturing burdens. When burned, the incense releases aromatic notes of cinnamon (sourced in Vietnam) and tuberose (from Sichhan).
The word Tokusen means ‘high quality and excellent’ and Shibayama refers to the ‘mountain meadows.’ The incense is inspired by visits to the mountain meadows and the feeling of being at one with the natural world.
